My Son and I recently delivered a Piano that somebody wanted rehomed from Kingston to Blackmans bay, in doing this we were also able to help out a mother and daughter who were looking for an upright piano!
This was one of our easier jobs - because Blackmans bay has so many hills, lots of the piano moves we deal with have stairs and steep driveways which we’re well prepared and accustomed to. If you’re looking to get your piano moved - give me a buzz or shoot through a text.
I take a baby grand piano and play it in unusual places - in December 2025 I played at Blackmans Bay Beach, where alongside a few other musicians I played my new song and sang carols with the crowd.
The baby grand is owned by Bethlehem house - a mens shelter. Over Christmas in 2025 my son and I went on a 6 week tour with the baby grand around Australia playing in 28 locations. We picked up a nice keyboard from a lady in Blackmans bay to leave in the mens shelter while we were away.

What types of piano do you move?
Baby grand, upright, and digital pianos. If it has keys and weighs more than you’d like, we move it.
Do you tune after the move?
Yes we can give your instrument an initial tune, but we recommend letting the piano settle for 1–2 weeks before tuning. We can connect you with a trusted tuner if needed.
How far do you service?
All of Tasmania. Hobart, Launceston, the northwest coast, and everywhere in between.
What about stairs or tight spaces?
This is what we specialise in. If it can be done, we will find a safe way to nurture your precious instrument all the way to its new home.
