By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
2.1 Booking & Fees
Performance fees are:
From $1,800 where Kelvin provides his own piano
From $900 where the client provides a suitable piano
Final pricing will vary depending on:
Event duration
Location
Access requirements
Additional setup requirements
25% payable on booking, the remainder is due on the day of performance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.2 Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
Providing safe access to the venue
Ensuring adequate space and suitable conditions
Providing sound equipment if amplification is required
Kelvin is responsible only for the piano moving and piano playing.
We are not responsible for third-party equipment.
3.1 Quotes & Fees
Piano moving services are priced from $500.
Final pricing is confirmed following assessment of:
Piano type
Access conditions
Stairs or obstacles
Distance between locations
Quotes are based on the information provided by the client.
If site conditions differ materially from what was disclosed, additional fees may apply.
3.2 Client Obligations
The client must:
Disclose accurate information about access conditions, and potential hazards
Ensure pathways are clear
Secure pets and remove hazards where possible
Failure to disclose material information may void liability coverage.
3.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for pre-existing damage to pianos
We are not liable for structural weaknesses in floors, stairs, or property
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
3.4 Insurance
Kelvin Smith Trading Pty Limited maintains appropriate insurance coverage for piano moving services.
Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.
4. Subcontractors
We may engage subcontractors where necessary.
We remain responsible for services provided under our supervision.
5. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia.
